A questo punto non credo sia più un segreto per nessuno: mi sono messa in testa di scrivere un romanzo, o un roba del genere, e qualunque cosa mi avvicini alla meta, oltre a carta, inchiostro e vagoni di buona volontà, mi è simpatico.Così, quando ho trovato un sito che consiglia 10 libri per diventare scrittore, ho acquistato e letto i primi tre che mi hanno ispirata:
- Conversazioni del vento volatore di Gianni Celati
- Storia di un romanzo di Thomas Wolfe
- Scrivere zen di Natalie Goldberg.
Tre autori, tre approcci completamente diversi alla scrittura, quella pratica sanguigna e bellissima che alle volte mi tiene sveglia di notte, altre, mi aiuta a dormire.
Lo scritto di Celati è un volo in planata sull’arte in generale, che sia letteratura, pittura, fotografia e cinematografia. I suoi sono spunti interessanti e analisi acute; parla dei suoi progetti con Italo Calvino e del suo amore per la scrittura lontana dagli ambienti accademici e dagli autori prezzolati.
Wolfe, al contrario, offre il ritratto dell’autore tormentato consapevole di aver preso su di sé il peso di una vocazione. Il suo osservare per raccontare è dettato da una fame onnivora e ancestrale, e il suo comporre è un processo straziante e totalizzante, che non lascia spazio per altro. La genesi del suo romanzo è anche la storia di un esilio (più o meno) volontario dal mondo, quasi un’auto condanna alla solitudine, un’auto esclusione dal mondo e da tutto ciò che non è arte.
Non si scrive soltanto per lasciare qualcosa di memorabile ma per esprimere se stessi, per capirsi, per trovarsi.
La scrittura è psicoanalisi, è ricerca, è liberazione. È una sete del mondo che non si estingue, è uno strumento di indagine e interpretazion della nostra esistenza e dell’esistenza del tutto.
Poi raccontarmi se avete trovato qualcosa di interessante.
Io comunque sto per fare il nuovo ordine in libreria…

tu potresti benissimo essere una scrittrice, se ti piace farlo e visto come ti viene bene! ma sia chiaro che nemmeno io oso definirmi tale… e io spero proprio , prima o poi, di leggere quella tua storia 🙂
C’è anche il narratore, lo scrittore che narra la realtà che conosce e non inventa storie. Non so in che categoria pormi, ma sono convinta che si diventi scrittori nell’esatto momento in cui si risponde ad un’urgenza e ci si rende conto che uno dei pochi momenti in cui si sta davvero bene e’ quando si scrive.

Sono una scrittrice, non che io creda di esserlo in maniera egocentrica eh, paziente, che sa aspettare l’ondata emotiva giusta, l’ispirazione, il momento propizio e quando arriva cavalca l’onda munita di cuore e tastiera, lavorando a più non posso, negandosi svaghi e arginando il desiderio di scappare altrove, per portare avanti la storia.
